Grilled Sourdough with garlic basil butter

What’s my inspiration?
Why have plain toast as a side when you can spice it up a little?  A loaf of sourdough at the store only costs about 1 dollar.  Basil, garlic and butter are things I usually have on hand.  Why not combine the 4 amazing ingredients into 1 and try something new?

What you need:

  • 1 loaf sourdough bread
  • 3 large garlic cloves – smashed to a pulp
  • 4 large basil leaves – Julianne
  • 4 tablespoons butter
What you do:
  • Smash Garlic and Julianne Basil

    Garlic

  • Soften butter and add garlic cloves & basil

  • Slice bread into thick slices
  • Spread butter on both sides of bread

  • Grill until toasted
