Cossetta’s – The best $12.64 cent homemade pizza!

What’s my inspiration?

We live within walking distance to what I consider the best Italian market in the twin cities, Cossetta’s.  They have the most amazing market with everything you need to cook your favorite Italian dish.  Being that I am a bit obsessed with pizza, I purchase ingredients to make it at home.  They sell everything you need – crust, sauce, meat, mozzarella, etc.  We don’t do anything fancy, either pepperoni, sausage or a combo.  Today, we made pepperoni and sausage during the Vikings game.  I was able to buy a single crust, pepperoni, sausage, fresh mozzarella and sauce all for $12.64!  What a deal!  It’s fun to make, tastes amazing and it’s inexpensive.  Does it get any better?  So, next time you make a pizza at home, consider stopping by Cossetta’s for fresh, tasty ingredients.

What you need:

  • 1 Pizza Crust
  • ½ pint pizza sauce
  • ½ pint pepperoni
  • ½ lb bulk sausage
  • 1 pint mozzarella cheese

What you do:

  • Pre-heat oven to 375
  • Brown sausage
  • On crust, put sauce, pepperoni, sausage and cheese
  • Cook at 375 for 15 minutes or until cheese is browned and bubbly
